John Bradbury
                         
  John Bradbury was born in Heidelburg, Germany, and came to Rolla with his family in 1957. He received the B.A. in history from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1974, and did graduate work at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Since 1980, he has been a manuscript specialist with the University of Missouri's Western Historical Manuscript Collection-Rolla. He has written extensively on Phelps County's history and on the Civil War in the Ozarks. He is a member of the Old Courthouse Preservation Committee and the Phelps County Historical Society. Since 1990, he has been co-editor of the Newsletter of the Phelps County Historical Society.
